Will I need to go to Court?

The vast majority of personal injury claims in England and Wales are settled without the need for them to be heard in a Court of law. The English Civil Litgation System encourages both parties in any action to reach an amicable outcome without an expensive and lengthy Court case.

Cases that do go to Court are usually those where injuries are of a severe nature and the compensation amount is likely to be high, or in cases where there is a dispute over who was responsible for the accident. Our personal injury solicitors will advise you if they feel it is in your interest that your case goes to Court to ensure your compensation claim has the best possible outcome.
