Sussex MP warns of tinnitus danger from Mosquito devicesA Sussex MP has warned that the county may be 'flooded' with electronic Mosquitos, which he claims to be discriminatory and a tinnitus risk. The representative for East Worthing and Shoreham told the Brighton Argus that the existence of a range of cheap, Chinese-made versions of the Mosquito device, which is intended to deter teenagers and children by playing a noise only they can hear, was a worry. No case was cited of a person making a compensation claim against the manufacturers of the device for hearing loss or any other form of personal injury. However, the MP insisted that "It is dangerous - it has been shown that it can have adverse effects on people suffering from tinnitus or autism."
