Compensation sought for fatal helicopter crash
Families left bereaved by the North Sea helicopter crash have instructed personal injury solicitors to seek accident compensation. Two pilots and 14 passengers were killed in the tragic incident. Three personal injury solicitor firms have come together to represent the families' claims, with a fourth firm to handle the claims of two families separately. It is anticipated that it will take some time for the personal injury solicitors to secure settlement, as each claimant will require different amounts of damages for things such as loss of earnings and the number of dependants left behind by the deceased. A recent investigation into the helicopter accident has revealed that it could have been avoided.
