Mother vindicated after RIAA allegations

An American woman has successfully used the services of a no win, no fee solicitor to secure compensation, including some for psychological personal injury, and legal fees from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) after they falsely accused her of illegally downloading a number of gangsta rap songs.

The mother-of-one employed a no win, no fee solicitor when it became clear to her that the RIAA wanted only to secure compensation from her and were not interested in listening to her arguments of innocence, even refusing to check her computer for evidence of the alleged illegal file sharing.

Instead, the powerful music body simply contacted her by letter, telling her, "You're going to have to pay us, or this won't go away."

However, the no win, no fee solicitor who represented the woman's case was convinced of her innocence. He commented, "I said to myself, either she's a good actor and a good liar, or what they have done to her is really crummy."
