LDC personal injury buyout on cards again
It has been reported that the upper level managers of no win, no fee compensation operator National Accident Helpline are set to bank around £23 million if the sell their share of the company to Lloyds Development Capital (LDC). Although talks between the two parties are said to be at a preliminary stage, LDC is believed to have already approached a third party with a view to raising the funds necessary to purchase the no win, no fee operator. LDC already owns 51% of National Accident Helpline, one of the UK's largest no win, no fee compensation companies, and last year looked to purchase a full stake in the company only to be foiled by the credit crunch. It is not known how any sale might affect the operating ethos of the personal injury specialist.
