UK backpackers seek compensation from Australian tour operator
A holiday accident claim is being made by three backpackers from the UK who suffered serious personal injury in a road traffic accident on Fraser Island, Australia. Two men and one woman, all in their twenties, sustained injuries when their rented Toyota Landcruiser Troop Carrier rolled on Eastern Beach, Dundaberra. According to no win, no fee solicitors representing the trio's holiday accident claim, the tour operator breached the terms and conditions of its rental contract when it provided a 4WD with a faulty steering wheel. "Soon after reporting this problem, my clients were in what could so easily have resulted in a tragic fatal accident," commented the solicitor representing the case. The holiday accident claim seeks to secure compensation for a number of injuries sustained by the three backpackers, including whiplash, broken bones and numerous soft tissue injuries.
