F1 car crash news 12/06/2008
Hamilton ribs father over injury-free car crash F1 star Lewis Hamilton's relief at his father's survival of a car crash without significant personal injury has been expressed in the form of humour. The driver's father was involved in a road traffic accident in Tewin, Hertfordshire, this week, in which his £330,000 Porsche span off the road and into an empty playground, leaving him "shaken but okay". The F1 driver joked that he could not have inherited his prizewinning driving skills from his father, adding that "My dad's my manager and loves cars. But, whenever we go somewhere, I'd always rather go by train." Hamilton's comments on this car crash story come as he is preparing for the Montreal Grand Prix in Canada on Sunday.
