Dancing on Ice star receives whiplash in rehearsal

The Dancing on Ice 2008 partner of Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain has been whisked to hospital with whiplash and a head injury after a serious fall during training for the popular UK television programme.

The professional ice dancer was attempting a difficult overhead flip when the couple's grip slipped and she fell on her head, thus receiving the personal injury.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday that "He would have preferred it if he had been the one to fall and hurt himself."

"Although it was just an accident, Chris blames himself."

After physio work to handle the whiplash, the couple were ready to skate again in the evening ITV show, receiving the highest score.
