Perth bridge closed following serious collision

Car crash compensation may be sought after a lorry, van and car collided on the Friarton Bridge near Perth.

The traffic collision occurred during morning rush hour on the northbound carriageway of the M90.

A female driver had to be cut free from the wreckage of her silver Toyota Auris after the accident and was taken to hospital with head and back injuries.

The 32-year-old male driver of the white Transit van was also taken to hospital with leg injuries.

The road was closed in both directions by Tayside Police for several hours following the car accident.

Police are appealing to any witnesses to the incident to contact them and help further their investigations.

Once liability has been established, car crash compensation is likely to be sought.
