Boy in hospital after collision with Mercedes

Parents of an 11-year-old boy may make a car crash claim after their son was in collision with a Mercedes in Cardiff.

The boy suffered serious injuries in the crash with the car in Pentreband road, Fairwater, Cardiff at around 8.30pm.

Following the pedestrian car accident, the child was treated at the University Hospital Wales where his condition is not thought to be critical.

Police are investigating the accident and have appealed for any witnesses to the scene to help them with their inquiries.

There have been no reported compensation claims for the boy's injuries as yet although if the driver is found liable for causing the crash, the family could make a car crash claim.
