Drunk driver causes couple to suffer whiplash

A woman living from Nebraska, USA has been arrested after causing several car accidents there that resulted in around $26,000 worth of damage. It is understood that the woman drank a considerable quantity of alcohol before embarking on her journey of destruction. In addition to the $26,000, a further $5,000 worth of damage was caused to the woman's own car.

A local police spokesperson said that the woman's first car crash caused a fence to be brought to the ground, that she next hit a pole, then a garage before colliding with another car, causing whiplash to its occupants, and then ploughing into a house and garage.

The driver, a 58-year-old woman, was soon after arrested and taken to prison on a number of car accident-related charges. She was later released on bail.
