Car accident news 19/02/2010
Solicitors sue for 2007 Woodford incidentA cyclist from East London who was nearly killed as a result of car accident injuries sustained in an incident in South Woodford has said that she will seek injury compensation. The 72-year-old has been left with a permanent brain injury and had to have a blood clot removed from her brain following the accident. No-win, no-fee solicitors allege that the driver was negligent in opening his car door as the pensioner cycled by. A car accident claim writ served by the solicitors also alleges negligence in failing to ensure that the path was safe, failing to notice the cyclist and failing to check the road. The claimant's husband has managed his wife's affairs since the 2007 car accident.
