Car accident claim news 09/08/2007
Compensation for collarbone-breaking crash
A Lancashire man who made a car accident claim after having his vehicle hit by an out-of-control drunk-driver has successfully won a four-figure sum of personal injury compensation.
He made the car accident claim after an October 2006 road accident on the outskirts of Blackpool left him with cuts, bruises and a broken collar bone.
At the time of the crash, newspapers reported that the driver of the other vehicle had been two-and-a-half times over the legal alcohol driving limit. In an earlier hearing, separate to the car accident claim, the 24-year-old drink-driver had been given an eighteen-month suspended sentence.
The successful car accident claimant said that he was satisfied with compensation claim settlement his personal injury solicitor had negotiated for him.
