Accident compensation claim news 20/07/2010
Two injured in Hucknall car crashAn accident compensation claim may be made after two men were injured in a car accident on the Hucknall/Annersley border. The two men were travelling along the A611 Annersley Road on Saturday 10th July when their Vauxhall Omega left the road and hit a tree around the Diadem Hill area. The driver of the car was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. His passenger's injuries were less severe and he was taken to King's Mill Hospital in Sutton-in-Ashfield with less serious injuries. The road the pair crashed on has a notorious reputation as an accident blackspot and traffic lights were installed after three deaths were suffered on the road in less than three years. Anyone who witnessed the car crash should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 0300 3009999 or call Crimestoppers' free and confidential hotline on 0800 555111. It has not been reported if the passenger is likely to make an accident compensation claim for his injuries.
