Car crash compensation claim news
Multiple pile-up on A27
Multiple car crash compensation claims could be made after a three-car collision on the A27 near Portsmouth.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway near the junction with Eastern Road during the morning rush hour after a Passat crashed with a black Volkswagen Bora and a silver Rover 416.
The driver of the Passat was taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital while the other three people were treated at the scene.
It is not thought that any of those injured in the car accident suffered serious injuries.
Two lanes of the coastal dual carriageway were closed for a short time and the incident caused major delays as three ambulances, two fire crews and police attended the scene.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said, "Firefighters removed the roof of one of the cars but that was for ease of access rather than anyone being trapped."
Police are currently appealing for witnesses to the crash to help them further their enquiries.
Once liability for the accident has been determined, car crash compensation may be claimed for the accident.
