Accident compensation claim news
Goodwood Festival of Speed crash
A pricey accident compensation claim is likely to be sought after Goodwood's first Moving Motor Show opened quite literally with a bang.
The driver of a Mugen Civic type R crashed into a stationary Jaguar E-Type, knocking it into the Nissan stand pushing out part of the pavilion's structure.
An eyewitness to the scene reported that the driver of the Mugen had fainted before crashing into the Jaguar.
Speaking of the incident, a Goodwood spokesperson said, "A driver of a slow moving car blacked out, lost control of his vehicle and injured four people."
None of those injured were seriously harmed in the car accident and were treated at the scene of the accident as a precaution.
Until the car crash the event, which is new to the Festival of Speed's usual line-up, was said to have been a real success and has been seen as a possible replacement for the motor shows at Earls Court and the NEC.
An estimate of the damage caused by the accident has not been reported but it is likely that accident compensation claims for the incident are likely to run into several thousands.
