A man is being charged with death by dangerous driving after a 16-month-old baby was killed in a
car crash.
The baby died in a
car crash near her home outside Londonderry on Sunday evening. She was in a pram when it was struck and was taken to hospital but died a short time later. The man is due to appear at the city's magistrates court. The toddler was one of four people who died on the roads over the weekend.
Earlier on Sunday, two young men travelling in the same car were killed in a
car crash between Magherafelt and Tobermore. A police spokeswoman said it was understood only one car was involved in the accident.
